Read this

Welcome to my blog thing. I've decided to create a sort of discussion panel using this blog space. I have some topics of discussion that I will put out there and then I hope to get some dialogue/debate going on these topics. I'm hoping that we all won't agree with eachother, so if you have strong thoughts about the current subject please comment, even if you totally disagree with what others are saying. I want to be challenged in my thinking. (at least I think I do).

ps - I will try to occasionally interject a topic that is a little lighter (or stupid).

-Proportions (but only in conjunction with the word Catastrophic)

Of course, I can't use half of these words in a sentence, but I like the way they sound.
